Pacquiao/Hatton in HBO 24/7. Pacquiao vs Hatton boxing fight is spiced up all the more with the announcement of HBO Sports to feature the two fighters in a new four-episode run of its critically-acclaimed series “24/7”.
Watch the premiere showing on April 11, 2009. Episodes 2 and 3 will debut on April 18 and 25, respectively. The 4th Episode will be shown on May 1, the night before the exciting fight. For the meantime, watch the HBO 24/7 trailer below.
The HBO 24/7 series will follow Manny Pacquiao and Ricky Hatton as they ready themselves for their junior welterweight title fight in Las Vegas. We expect the usual interviews, shots of their workouts, and probably some recollections on their status rise. Both are renowned boxing icons in their respective countries, with Pacquiao even considered a hero in the Philippines. The Brit also has that same following in his hometown.
We also expect their famous trainers to enter the scene and add fireworks. Freddie Roach and Floyd Mayweather Sr. will surely contribute flare to the film, as both can exchange words like punches, hooks and jabs. The two are also as determined as their fighters.
This will be the second time Pacquiao and Hatton to be featured in HBO 24/7 — Mayweather/Hatton 24/7 and DelaHoya/Pacquiao 24/7. We expect not to see camera-shy boxers for this series, but warriors combining both drama and action. The HBO 24/7 is surely a series to watch!
