Roger Federer Marries

Tennis great Roger Federer announced in his website that he married his long-time fiancée Mirka Vavrinec in Basel, Switzerland. I was actually looking for pictures of the Federer wedding but I just couldn’t find any yet. So I just went straight to his website to read more about the news.
Dated April 11,2009, he wrote to his fans:
“Dear Fans
Earlier today, in my hometown of Basel, surrounded by a small group of close friends and family, Mirka and I got married. It was a beautiful spring day and an incredibly joyous occasion.
Mr. and Mrs. Roger Federer wish all of you a Happy Easter weekend!

Roger”
This is good news to all of us Fed fans out there. Now that he has settled happily, he can now refocus his energies on tennis and beat Rafael Nadal to reclaim the top spot. Honeymoon may be shortened as he has accepted an invitation for the Monte Carlo Masters next week.
