Roger Federer vs Andy Murray in Wimbledon 2009 Finals! Is it too early to tell? That is my men’s tennis finals predictions now that Rafael Nadal is out and both are in the quarterfinals. This is a match every tennis fan is waiting for, other than the Federer vs Nadal encounter.
What would you think of a guy who beats a tennis legend 6-2 in their head to head encounter? Despite winning 14 grand slams, there is simply another guy who has a winning record against Roger Federer. And that guy is a British tennis player names Andy Murray. The Scot is aiming to stop the British drought in Wimbledon. Is 2009 Andy’s time to shine?
Murray or Federer?
I like them both. Their styles are so similar and they play relaxed. Their swings are perfect, backhand, forehand and whatever swings they let go from their arms and shoulders. Their footworks are awesome, and they seems like they have Mercury’s shoes.
When Roger Federer won in their US Open finals encounter last year, it was not really a walk in the park for the Swiss. It was a result of brilliance and hardwork. The young Scot was highly touted to win the Australian Open early this year but he stumbled along the way. Federer reached the Finals, only to cry in defeat to Nadal.
Murray has not yet won a Grand Slam trophy, while Federer has fourteen. But before the Federer vs Murray will come into fruition, there is still Andy Roddick to block the Scot, and Tommy Haas to face the Swiss. But I expect the no.2 and no.3 to go through and face each other in the finals
Results Predictions
At the end of the day, I predict a Federer win over Murray in 4 sets. If either one falters in the semis, I’d cheer for the survivor. Roger and Andy are my top 2 favorite tennis players.

Andy Roddick will face Roger Federer at the Finals after beating Andy Murray in 4 sets. Sorry to us Murray fans, and to the Brits cheering for their only hope this Wimbledon 2009. A Federer vs Murray finals will have to wait another time.

If it’s Tim Henman vs Roger Federer, I’d pick Tim. Not because he can defeat Roger. Wala lang favorite ko lang si Tim Henman. At core, I’m a Brit. Ahahaha.
Much as I admire Murray’s sharpness and spunk, I’d still go for Roger. Sentimental favorite ever since Andre Agassi retired from tennis. Huhuhu. “,)

Even if Roger Federer doesn’t win, nobody can equal his technique and classical style.
