Watch Mayweather Jr vs Marquez live this Saturday night (Sunday morning) at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Some I heard opt to watch the fight in you tube or some free online video streaming, avoiding hefty pay-per-view fees. Other will just wait for some video replay. No one in boxing today, they say, is more attractive than Manny Pacquiao. Oh, well! This is one good fight real boxing fans shouldn’t miss. Whereever you are, watch it! (oh like I am appealing for Mayweather)
We heard praises for Floyd Mayweather Jr. Much of it comes from himself and his team. I can’t believe Marquez and his team acknowledges it. Probably to hype it up and put Marquez in an underdog status. Both are excellent counter punchers. A punch may fly even before a second will tick. Mayweather has an edge – that of being undefeated and a louder mouth. He is quick alright, but I don’t really see enough knock-out power. His victory over Hatton was that the Mancurian was just weak.
Juan Manuel Marquez may be smaller but he packs power that can defeat anyone. He shook Pacquiao remember? And he withstood the Filipino’s power too despite earlier knockdowns. He took the belts of Joel Casamayor and Juan Diaz. The latter two were lords of their heavier divisions until Marquez sent them to the canvass.
Fight Results Prediction
I will recant my earlier prediction of a Floyd Mayweather victory in 6 rounds. I say I’ll go for Juan Manuel Marquez this time around. My new fight results prediction is a 6 round knockout win by Marquez. Gee, there must be an SM branch near where they show this boxing fight live.
Update: Boy, I missed the fight. Mayweather won to confirm the predictions of experts. It was a blowout, they say. But without a brutal knock-out it is still below my expectation of a good fight. Now where’s the video replay?
