These are unprecedented in UK’s football. Chelsea, on the other hand is trying to spoil that. They have a trophy chase on their own too.

Manchester United is coming off from a Champion’s League loss to Bayern Munich early this week. And the worst part is that, they lost Wayne Rooney to injury. Now in the most crucial game in the Premiership, they are without their main gun. Berbatov and Park may fill the slack. But are they enough?

Chelsea is currently holding the second spot and this game could be the decider. They have complete players in Lampard, Terry, Drogba and Ballack. Add Malouda, Anelka and Essien to that. The loss to Inter was a sorry one for the Blues. Now that the Champion’s League is off their back, they can focus on the domestic trophy.

Results Predictions

In this Manchester United vs Chelsea game, the Blues are better equipped this time around. I won’t be surprised if they’ll win 2-1. That is simply my results prediction.

Chelsea 2 Manchester United 1. Joe Cole fired the first goal for Chelsea. Then a clearly offside Drogba added another one. Rooney was surely missed.
